The Generic role of Aerospace Engineer with give you the chance to obtain skills in multiple aera’s of engineering. All our apprentices at Reginson’s will have blocks in five key sections within the business, CNC Lathes (Turning), Vertical Machining Centres (Milling), Sliding Heads, Inspection, Bench Fitting. This will give you a wide variety of skills and a chance to find your preference of career path, then on discussion with our team select an area to specialise in to complete the apprenticeship. So whether you would like to be a machinist or prefer to follow the quality engineer route, this apprenticeship would we right for you.
As an Engineer at Reginsons we want individuals to have a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt and overcome problems in a precise and efficient manner. This will require effective communication with other members of your section, and team work to get parts manufactured and delivered to customers in the required timeframe.
We require all employees to be punctual in every sense of the word. Production is key so poor time keeping is not tolerated.
Due to this fact we prefer candidates to be local to Nuneaton / Coventry Area to avoid commuting issues. The train station is only a 5/10 minute walk from our facility.
MTC Training eligibility: 5 GCSEs grades 9-4 / A*- C (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language or English Literature
Here at Reginson’s we are keen to promote youth to keep our business hungry and moving forward. We have a young management, both shop floor and Milling supervisor / managers are time served apprentices. This is supported by two of our section leaders also being time served, following the same route you will.
